MasterBrain AM Review Summarized
Pros
- Offers some brain-healthy nutrients
- Contains a couple of effective ingredients for cognitive function
Cons
- Hides ingredient doses behind three proprietary blends
- Overpriced at $49.99 for only 20 servings
Summary: MasterBrain AM is a dietary supplement focused on improving your productivity & brain health. One jar provides you with 60 capsules, with a serving size of 3 capsules per day.
MasterBrain AM might give your memory, focus, and mental capacity a bit of a boost, but you’re playing a guessing game with this supplement. It uses proprietary blends, leaving us clueless about the ingredient doses, and, consequently, how safe and effective these ingredients are.
MasterBrain AM claims to be the most advanced cognitive enhancement formula available. We disagree. If MasterBrain AM was more transparent with its ingredient doses, and if the doses were effective and safe, then it could have an argument for such a bold claim. We have a top 3 brain supplement list, but even if we had a top 10, MasterBrain AM wouldn’t make it there!

About MasterBrain AM
MasterBrain AM is a nootropic made by the company 1st Phorm based in St. Louis. Don’t confuse this supplement with MasterBrain PM, which is also made by the same company but it has a different ingredient profile.
Today we’ll keep our focus on MasterBrain AM. It comes in a capsule form, with 60 capsules per bottle that are going to last you for 20 days (due to the serving size of 3 capsules per day)
MasterBrain AM is supposed to give you these benefits:
- Memory improvement
- Increasing mental focus, concentration, and acuity
- Making solving problems easier
- Optimizing overall brain performance
- Reducing anxiety and stress
- Energy boost
But does MasterBrain AM really work? We’re going to find the answer by checking the ingredient formula.
Ingredients in MasterBrain AM
Each serving (3 capsules) of MasterBrain AM contains these ingredients:
- Vitamin B6 – 10mg
- Vitamin B12 – 500mcg
- Brain Proprietary Blend – 1600mg (consists of: Eleuthero, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Bacopa Monnieri, Cordyceps Sinesis Mycelium Extract, Alpha-Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline, Glucuronolactone, Phosphatidylserine)
- Awake Matrix Proprietary Blend – 295mg (consists of: Di-Caffeine Malate, L-Theanine, Caffeine Anhydrous, Huperzine A)
- Stabilize Proprietary Blend – 235mg (consists of: Rhodiola Rosea Extract)
At first, the ingredient formula in MasterBrain AM doesn’t look that promising. The supplement uses a proprietary blend. More precisely, there are 3 proprietary blends in MasterBrain AM.
A proprietary blend means that you’re deprived of the information on the particular ingredient doses inside that blend. You can only see the combined dosage of all the ingredients. For example, phosphatidylserine (PS) is a solid ingredient for brain health—it’s known to improve memory and support locomotor functions.
However, since it is included in a proprietary blend, we can’t see its dose. It could be far lower than the optimal effective dose, making PS completely ineffective.
There are some nutrients in MasterBrain AM’s formula that could help boost energy, such as caffeine. But, because its amount is unknown, we can’t be sure how effective it really is. If caffeine is over-served, it can cause adverse reactions such as insomnia and anxiety.
Bacopa Monnieri is known to help enhance memory and attention, but again, because its dosage is not provided, no one can be certain how effective this ingredient will be in MasterBrain AM.
MasterBrain AM could also benefit from adding other well-known nootropic ingredients—for example, Lion’s Mane Mushroom, pine bark extract, or omega-3 fatty acids.
Overall, we can’t put MasterBrain AM in the same category as market leading nootropic stacks, a.k.a, brain supplements.
Dosage Instructions (How to Take)
The manufacturer recommends taking 3 capsules daily in the morning with food and a minimum of 16 ounces of water. You should take MasterBrain AM in a cycle of five days on and two days off.
What do Customers Say About MasterBrain AM?
We’ve checked customer reviews on MasterBrain AM on the official website. Most customers left positive feedback, but some of them were unsatisfied with the supplement. Here’s what they said:
“I love this product. Feel so focused when I use it compared to when I’m not!” – Trevor
“I was so excited to try this after reading so many positive reviews, but both the am and pm formulas gave me massive, nauseating headaches. It must work for some people with all the positive feedback it has, but for me, I can’t even finish what I have.” – Sophia
Side Effects
MasterBrain AM is not the most transparent choice due to its proprietary blend, leaving you with no clue about the ingredient doses and their safety. If you are sensitive to caffeine, avoid it.
As always, consult with your doctor before taking any supplement.
Pricing and Availability
MasterBrain AM is available on the official website for $49.99. Considering the value offered and only 20 servings per bottle, there are better options available with some research.
Final Thoughts
Is MasterBrain AM a good choice for boosting brain function and health? We don’t think it is.
Due to an incomplete formula, and proprietary blends inside, MasterBrain AM is definitely not anywhere near our top nootropic list.
At this price range, you’re better off searching for something that can give your brain better results.
