Program Coordinator

Position Description:

YLabs is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our growing operations team and assist in the planning and coordination of our programatic and organizational goals. You’ll be working with a vibrant, multi-disciplinary team that combines expertise in health, economics, and design. The ideal candidate has a passion for working in partnership with young people, is collaborative, and is ready to jump in and help where needed across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support to projects, including, organizing travel, procurement of supplies, and tracking expenses;

  • Support the planning of internal meetings, events, and team-building activities to ensure team growth and wellness;

  • Work with operations team to coordinate project reporting;

  • General office management in order to bolster a creative, vibrant, and supportive working environment;

  • Create and maintain internal systems to collaborate and share knowledge;

  • Assist with fundraising activities;

  • Maintain a calendar of upcoming funding opportunities;

  • Develop and maintain a client management database;

  • Work with the marketing and communications team to support our dissemination strategy.

The idea candidate has:

  • A bachelor's degree or relevant experience;

  • Proficiency in MS Office, G Suite, KeyNote;

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities;

  • A can-do positive attitude;

  • Excellent written and oral communication;

  • The ability and track record to see projects through to completion.

Bonus points if they have:

  • Experience working in a non-profit;

  • Project or program coordination experience;

  • Previous experience working on health, education or employment programs;

  • Professional fluency in a second language.
